Sleek Editor is a free online video editor with a multi-track timeline, keyframable text, transitions, effects, color tools and up-to-4K export — all running locally in your browser.
The heart of the editor is a real multi-track timeline: unlimited video and audio tracks, drag-and-drop clip arranging, magnetic snapping, frame-accurate scrubbing and a zoomable ruler with beat markers. Split clips with a keypress, duplicate them, trim their edges, and drag the playhead anywhere — the timeline even auto-scrolls when you drag clips past the edge of the screen, just like professional desktop editors.
Every clip has its own animation lane. Expand it, add property keyframes, and fine-tune the motion curve in the built-in easing editor with standard easing presets and custom bezier curves. Nothing is locked behind layers of menus: right-click any clip, transition or keyframe for the relevant context menu.
Add styled text clips with full control over font, size, weight, color, stroke, shadow and background. Every text parameter can be keyframed, so you can animate position, scale, rotation and opacity with smooth easing. Text scales responsively with the preview, so what you see at 480p matches what you export at 4K.
Drop A/B transitions between clips to blend them with shader-style transitions, and stack parameterized effects on any clip: shake, flicker, glitch, breathe, pixelate, vignette, scanlines, film grain, letterbox and more. Effects have typed parameters of their own, so you can animate exactly how strong each effect is over time.
Grade your footage with DaVinci-style color wheels — lift, gamma, gain and offset with interactive hue wheels — plus exposure-style controls. Because everything is rendered in real time on the GPU-accelerated preview canvas, you see your grade while you play, not after a render wait.
Import music and sound, record voiceovers straight from your microphone, and keep every clip's audio in sync. Beat detection scans your music and shows beat markers on the ruler, so cuts can snap exactly to the rhythm. Audio pitch is preserved when you speed clips up or down.
The export dialog lets you choose resolution (480p, 720p, 1080p, 1440p or 2160p 4K), frame rate (24, 30 or 60 fps), quality and whether to include audio, with a live size estimate before you commit. Exporting uses your browser's hardware encoder — typically MP4 (H.264), falling back to WebM where needed — and the interface stays responsive while the render runs in the background. You can also export the current frame as a PNG image with one shortcut.
Nothing you edit is uploaded anywhere. Media files are read from your disk by your own browser, projects autosave every 60 seconds to local storage, and the whole app keeps working offline after the first visit. Read the privacy policy for details.
