Privacy policy

Last updated: October 2026. The short version: your media never leaves your device, and we do not collect personal data.

What we store (on your device only)

Sleek Editor stores your projects, settings and — if you create one — your local account directly in your browser using localStorage and IndexedDB. Video, audio and image files you import are read from your disk by your own browser and are never transmitted to us or to any server. Passwords for local accounts are salted and hashed before they are stored, and they never leave your browser either.

What we do NOT do

Third parties

Google AdSense. This site shows advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to serve and measure ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google's Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com) or via www.aboutads.info. The AdSense cookies are governed by Google's privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy).

Google Sign-In. If you choose "Continue with Google", authentication is handled by Google under its own privacy policy. We only receive what your browser displays from the signed-in profile, and it stays in your browser.

Clearing your data

Everything stored belongs to you: clearing your browser's site data for this site (or using it in private/incognito mode) removes all projects, settings and local accounts permanently. Deleting a project from the dashboard removes it the same way.

Children

The service is a general-audience tool and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, since no personal information is collected at all.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the updated date at the top will change with it. Questions about privacy? The honest answer to most of them is already above: the app cannot leak what it never receives.
